Amazing Grace

This version from America,
from the singing of Doc Watson.
MIDI

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now I'm found,
Was blind but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
    And grace my fear relieved.
How precious did that grace appear,
    The hour I first believed.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now I'm found,
Was blind but now I see.

When we've been there ten thousand years,
    Bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise,
    Than when we first begun.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now I'm found,
Was blind but now I see.

Notes:
Yes, I know that this is NOT a folk song. But I have finally
accepted that many folk performers and folk song enthusiasts like to
include it in folk collections. Also, I was asked for it.
But it is still a hymn, and I have tried to treat it as such. I hope
you like it,
             Ron.
